First Impression: What an odd Duck.

On first introduction most people find Cammie to be quite odd. It isn't normal for people to speak so passionately about everything from the state of the union address to their favorite breakfast cereal. With time people find this to be just how Cammie is. She has her opinions and no problems voicing them. What is unexpected is when she is willing to except others opinions. People who speak with the kind of passion she does often have little room to listen like she does.

Most people would find Cammie is best suited for working with children which is thankfully her passion. Cammie is studying at the University of Chicago to be a special education teacher a field she has been waiting to get into her whole life.

Weight: 124 lbs.
Build: healthy thin, round face tends to make people think she's larger than she is.

Wardrobe: Color plays a big part in Cammie's wardrobe. She wears plenty of black an navy but with big pops of color. She can often be seen in a skirt/dress and leggings combo. The Chicago weather makes bare legs and even tights impractical. Although Cammie likes heels and boots sneakers don her feet more often than not. The practical wins everytime when it comes to walking around the city.

Distinguishing Marks: Scar on her right abdomen from an appendectomy when she was 16. The scar is somewhat hidden by a tattoo of a small bonsi tree.

Manner of Speech: Cammie speaks rapidly more often than not. Most people (except for kids) feel the need to ask her to slow down. She uses great inflection in her voice that nearly always gives away her emotions as well as making her an effective story teller.

Abby and Stephen had already signed the divorce papers when Cammie entered the world. She always jokes about how she was a statistic on marriage before even exiting the womb. Having divorced Parents since birth wasn't the only thing that made Cammie's family special. Most people don't think anything of it now but as a child it seemed like it defined every moment of her life. Cammie's older brother Andrew was and still is Autistic.

Growing up with a brother who you're constantly out stripping as an average child was always a bit complicated for Cammie. She could see both her Mother and her Father (whom she saw every weekend and every Wednesday night for dinner)were proud of her. Yet every accomplishment she gained they looked to her Brother with sadness knowing he could never accomplish such things. Cammie wasn't bothered by her Bothers disability though. She played with him as best she could though she didn't always understand why the feel of wool sweaters upset him or why he barely spoke. She grew up loving her brother like any little sister would.

When Cammie was old enough to start understanding she started to ask questions none of which really had answers. Andrew was bigger now and not as good at playing with his little sister. It was starting to be hard to play together the climax of this being when he accidentally broke Cammie's arm when she was 11. He didn't know his own strength and to this day Cammie swears it was her fault not his.

Cammie did have a few experiences in her young life that weren't punctuated by having her Brother near by. Since she was 8 Cammie had been spending four weeks every summer at WeHaKee in Wisconsin. It was here she gained confidence and learned to express her opinion. Cammie still supports the camp having gone back this past summer to work as a staff member. As much as she hates to be a stereotype this was also where she found out girls where lovely practice for kissing boys... till you find yourself wanting to do more with girls.

High School was when Cammie first started to find the things she was passionate about. Nerdy-tv and movies, progress, social change for the better, defending the rights of those who can't do it for themselves. She wanted to help people. She specifically wanted to help people like her brother. At the age of 16 when Cammie was conveniently in the hospital her Parents arranged to move the 21 year old Andrew into a facility to have his care managed by others. Cammie was heart broken to find this out when she arrived home after her appendectomy surgery. She then and still does visit him every other day taking him out shopping and to lunch once a week. She knows she doesn't have to do these things but in doing them she feels she's making his life and her own just a bit better.

Staying in Chicago for University was a choice she made based on her Brother. She couldn't just leave him with the once a week visit from their Mom or the every other week visit from their Dad. She needed to be there for him even if people don't believe that her visits make a difference.
